“Sacks' expressiveness was indisputable.”
– Chris Ruel for Operawire
Classical singer Rebecca Sacks is known for her dynamic stage presence, smart musicality, and stylistic versatility.
In the summer of 2022, audiences saw her as Fricka in Miami Wagner Festival’s production of Das Rheingold. With a range described as "extraordinary" by Operawire, she has established herself in broad ranging repertoire from Bel Canto and Verdian heroines to the heroic roles in Wagner in Strauss. Recently, she has made role debuts as Santuzza in Cavalleria Rusticana, Sara in Roberto Devereux, and Pepa in Goyescas while also continuing to sing core repertoire such as Grimgerde and Fricka in Die Walküre, Queen Alkmene in Strauss's rarely performed Die Liebe der Danäe, and Komponist in Ariadne auf Naxos. |
